Um, yeah. Yesterday at closing we got in a very young baby possum and a very large momma with babies in her pouch.

Poor momma was minding her own business and eating plums from a plum tree and the owner of the property didnt like that, so they trapped her and brought her in. Im giving her three rounds of dewormer for three days (they are prone to lungworm) and releasing her. For now she is in a large midwest crate on the side of the house that only has the hose and is fenced from the dogs. Its quiet there and I can see her out of my kitchen window.

The baby will be going up to the possum rescue a few hours north from me when I can find time to drive him up there. The lady has another one her size so they can be together.

No pictures of mom because I am doing everything not to stress her out, but heres the cute little wee-one!
