But why? Why not just get a non-ruined breed instead of breeding a bunch more dogs to "fix" a messed up one? I mean it'd be one thing if you tried to... I don't know, breed Border Collies back to Corgis to get them more herding drive and better physical structure, if you lived on a farm and needed/wanted a Corgi type herding dog that hadn't been ruined by the show ring. But for just a companion dog? Just find a different breed if you don't like the fucked up faces... I just don't see the point.

Then by your argument, it would be pointless to breed bull-terriers that do not have an egg shaped head. But people do and there are many who prefer that look. Its like trying to breed AmBullys that have correct structure instead of sticking to the ones that have sway-backs and easty-westy feet.

Bull Terriers without egg heads would be great for a working purpose so it's beneficial to breed those. But the egg heads don't seem to cause health problems so apart from being extremely ugly, if you want a Bull Terrier for just a pet, there's no need to go on a science project just to improve looks.
The AmBully argument doesn't mesh because people breeding healthy AmBullies aren't re-creating a ruined breed. They're just breeding the healthy specimens within a breed. It's a different concept.

I'm saying what's the point of all the re-created breeds... there's what, like 5 different "olde bulldogge" breeds where people have tried to "restore" English Bulldogs?

This is kind of sad, IMO to be honest. It looks like somebody smashed the poor guys face in with a hammer :(

honestly, Im against separating breeds. Id mush rather the "corrected" dogs be allowed into the standard show-ring so they could help with the show dog's issues.

I used to have a Frenchie x Boston who had a muzzle, he was a great looking dog but he had a horrible temperament or lack of one I guess. He was very very shy of everyone and just had no personality on top of that I got him when he was older and not fixed so he pissed on everything.

Ya the breeder have a goal for bantman bulldogs or something but they are shit breeders who dont do any testing.
They have a good idea if they would just test their dogs.

I know a show Boston with cropped ears... it weirds me out lol

My Boston has more of a muzzle than a lot of show Bostons do now...

And she has no problems with breathing or the heat.

    She also has more rear

She's also a complete and utter spaz!

    And is deaf

And if she looks fat, it's because I'm not her caretaker

I think it's sad what has become of Bostons. There is a "breed" called Olde Boston Bulldogge that is supposed to be a recreation of the original breed... they have some neat looking dogs.
