I was wondering about these dogs, they seem large for a APBT??? Are the APBT's or do they have hung papers??? Has anyone delt with this kennel first hand or know anything about them???

I don't know all that much about the OFRN, but I believe Camelot dogs tend to run a bit bigger, and am not so sure they count as OFRN.

Thats what i thought too??? not sure though... Im loooking to add a new family maybe in the fall or end of summer and am trying to find a true APBT with a little size to it

I do not know the Kennel but from what I see look like a good size catch dog. Not overly large biggest dog seems to be 65lbs which is within the size range so I do not think looking at size you could say hung papers. I think if you looking for a dog would be a possibility would want some more research on them but do not see anything wrong with the dogs

Yeah, I wouldn't say they are hung papers either.

I am not so sure they are really considered "OFRN" though, but like I said I don't know much about that family.

i find them to be sketchy at best, one of the lines they claim to run are Peterson, but if you go and look at the peterson dog's,its obvious that they are mixed with something else. Its true that ofrn's are a bit bigger than the average apbt, but not so much that they look like an ambully.Look at peterson's cringer for example, total am bully

Out of all those I like the look of Bullseye and their females look good. Cain was a bit large for my liking.

You have to look at more than just the parent dogs. Just because the stud and bitch look ok, it doesn't mean that there isn't any trash in the pedigree. You throw in mutts like those Peterson dogs and you end up with mutts. Just because a dog 2 generations down looks purebred and ok, it's still a mutt thanks to that outcross 2 gens back and you still run a risk of throwing dogs that look like freaks.

If you want a good dog, go to Mike. If you want a red dog with a red nose that you can call an "OFRN", adopt a red/red-nosed 'pit bull' because it's probably just as much true OFRN as that other thing you're about to spend a lot of money on.

"OFRN" became a puppy-selling term and those who use it rarely have true OFRN dogs and all they want from you is a mortgage payment, car payment, and some new bling.

---------- Post added at 10:11 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 AM ----------

And if you want a 70 lb 'catchweight' bulldog, get an American Bulldog. A 45 lb APBT is a perfect 'catchweight' dog if it isn't too DA and is properly trained and has a knack for the sport. Otherwise, get distorting a breed and go with the many others than already exist in that size range that can get the job done just as good and often times better as that is what they were specifically bred to do.

whats so wrong with the peterson line..:doggyhug2:

i like the ped from the dame better then from the sire.
but ive seen the offspring of the dogs and ther very pretty.

but i like it, if the dogs are a little bit heavier then the game pits.;)
    i dont like bully s.

norrod has beautifull dogs but they not so open to public.
i come from europe not every breeder sells them across the ocean...

This all depends on whether hes going to work it or not. Theres "trash" in every game bred dogs ped. that doesnt mean they didnt produce well though.

they hunt with there dogs .
    seem to me thats working.
soutern inferno s hemi has the same bloodlines.
thats a nice looking dog i think.

im going to sport with the dog,
    springpole, biking, jumps hiking,
dogshows but all just more for the fun of it.

not all dogs with perfect pedigrees are strong healthy dogs is my experience.
they work with thats better than just performe at shows or doing great on paper...

but still nice to hear everybody s view.
