We are human, looking at people is normal. I don't feel like every single person is staring at her ass picturing her naked with impure thoughts. Nothing is slutty about yoga pants so the idea of this "slut-shaming" is ridiculous. I think she's taking a stand for something she is obviously passionate about, so for that.... much respect. However, i think it's dumb (maybe she's just covering up for just being super self conscious about her ass). Have fun wearing sweatpants or whatever else you'd wear while working out, i'm going to be uber comfy in my yoga pants :)

While she's free to wear anything she pleases, for whatever reason she pleases, her reasoning is a little flawed. First, because there is a large percentage of men (myself included) who won't find her attractive and wouldn't have been thinking "lustful thoughts" about her in the first place, and then there is another large percentage that are going to, regardless of what she's wearing. But it's her body, so if it makes her feel better, go for it. But she doesn't get to blame her choices on other people.

Some of the comments on the article are ridiculous. "The fact that she feels SHE has to change to protect other men from lusting after her and "honor" her husband, but he and other men can't be expected to do anything about the thoughts they themselves are having?" A person can control the actions they take, but it is impossible to control whether or not you'll have a thought.

Yet if a man were to say "women shouldn't wear form-fitting tops because we can see the entire outline of your breasts in them," well that would be sexist, wouldn't it?

Interesting, good luck with that search....
What I also find is interesting is the double standards in ways that the male and female bodies are deemed acceptable in terms of what is sensor ed and what is not. In general, it has no relevance to the link I posted being removed.

i mean, if he's wearing boxers.. yea you can see it. the point was that it's not a big deal, everybody at some point has some clothing that will unintentionally show a glimpse of what's underneath. Like sports bras, in a sports bra and a tank top, if it's cold out, yea you're seeing nips. So the big hoopla over yoga pants, i just don't understand it...

so long as it was her choice, I do not really care, nor is it any of my business, why she made it.
    It affects only her.

I love Yogo pants, they are SOOOOO much more comfortable than jeans, and allow for better movement (Jumping, running, hiking, biking, exercises like burpees) and they can be "dressed up" unlike sweat pants, before i found yogo pants i wore sweat pants A LOT, and my family got pissed at me cause they thought i looked like a bum because of it, now i do not need to listen to them bitch.... I LOVE YOGA PANTS:aww::aww::hearts:

And my boyfriend does not mind me wearing them :D

AND YOGO PANTS OR NOT men are totally gonna look ... IDGAF if SHE doesn't want to wear them but i will continue to rock my yoga pants

I think it's pretty sad that there are women walking around this planet using that kind of reasoning.

Talk about sending us back to the Dark Ages. I'm not 'honoring' my husband by trying to prevent other men from having lustful thoughts about me. Being faithful to my husband is the ONLY thing I can control. I can't control others and their thoughts/wishes/desires.
