New to site, semi-new to bullies

Discussion in 'Introductions' started by PittieLove2020, Jul 2, 2020.

  1. I am an experienced dog owner of large/independent breeds (grew up on a ranch where we used working cattle dogs, was a state coordinator for Mastiff Rescue, owned/trained an Akita, etc). However, I am new(ish) to the Bully breeds. I currently own two AmStaff/AmPBT mixes who I adore and am EXTREMELY thankful to have found a site that addresses the actual heritage and instincts of these breeds because pretty much everything else out there either seems to be either 1) They are just misunderstood and they're like every other dog who will be fine if they have plenty of love and training, or 2) They are the devil in dog skin and should be eradicated.

Thank you for having a site that actually allows real owners to discuss the joys and challenges of these type dogs.
