Rikki earned her Novice Standard title on Sunday, after winning both standard classes this weekend. She is slowly gaining confidence, and speed.
I got a video of her jumpers run on Saturday. She couldn't manage her weaves, then a tunnel was calling her name. But she was MOVING and that's what important (she got her novice jumpers title a couple trials ago, just haven't moved her to open yet)
Frankie had a good weekend, she tried super hard, but melts in the heat. Managed a 2nd place in standard on Saturday, couldn't find her weaves in jumpers on Saturday, which NEVER happens, then had a bar down in each of her other classes. That's typical of her when she's hot or tired. On Sunday, even if she hadn't dropped a bar, she would have been 12 seconds over time, that's how slow she was going.
I got a cool car shade umbrella for my birthday and tested it over the weekend. That combined with shade cloths, a couple fans, and cool coats, my car stayed very comfortable for the dogs (my chapstick didn't even get soft!)
I should be getting a video of Rikki's standard run on Sunday, when my friend has a chance to send it to me. In the meantime, this is her jumpers run from Saturday. Their win ribbons and my 'cool' car.

    Thanks!
I found the shade on Amazon, and more or less told my husband to get it for me. LOL My b'day isn't until Wednesday, but he let me have it early since it was going to be hot for the trial.
Go to Amazon and search 'car shade umbrella' they even has some with remotes!
