Hello. I am a mom of 3 teenagers, 1 of whom is special needs and new pet parent to (The Saltina of) Pepper. A (currently) 4 mo old pit terrier that was fostered with her litter by the local animal shelter. I have little experience with dogs thanks to some bad experiences, most notably the poodle my mom got before me would bully me every chance and got till she passed when I was 7ish. We have been proactive on training and socialization (as much as possible right now). I am looking for a place to ask questions and get breed specific guidance.

Thanks. I'm really looking forward to a little feedback. She s such. Sweet girl, but she is getting big quickly. When I got her at 2 mo she was only 9ish lbs and we thought she would be on the smaller side of the breed based on her parents, now at 4mo she just hit 27lbs. I'm guessing that means she's going to be bigger then we thought. I'm hoping that doesn't mean she's overweight. She looks proportionate though... I think

Pup looks good. Seems you are on the right track with feeding for proportionality. btw noble of you to give this shelter/foster dog a second chance.
