Adorabull!!! My AB is Johnson/Scott. He's 4 now. First 2 years were the worst! Lots of training and dog proofing and maybe a few moments here and there in a ball crying over things he did. At 2 years old he became a total saint as if someone flipped a switch. Just keep repeating "He'll grow out of it!" and have a sense of humor and you'll both make it through!
