Aww :( My A. Avic sling was DOA. Shame, she was very pretty. But the OBTs showed up ready to fight and the Rosie - who is a big girl - was a bit slow but is already laying down a web mat. I'll get pics up this evening when I go to check up on them after giving them a chance to settle.

The OBTs did not disappoint, I've never owned such little jackasses. The bigger one flips on his back and bites the air if I disturb him.. LOL so cute, he almost got me - and after reading the crazy pain and cramps all over your body that follow a bite, for days, I am quite happy he missed..

I really wish the Avic made it - she was just beautiful.

Okay, the Rosie.. It seems her name is going to be Candy, because she's just that sweet :D

The smaller, less intense OBT, his owner old says he's quite the runt because he's behind the other OBTs his age:

Do those spiders stink? I was looking at some at a pet store one time and they stunk to the high heavens.I didn't know if maybe it was just because they didn't keep the cages clean or if the spiders stink.

No not at all... Most pet stores treat their reptile section (where the T's usually are) like crap, and don't keep them clean at all. If the T's have rotten water/dead prey items around their enclosure, it will smell for sure..

Awesome. I totally want an OBT. They are awesome little buggers. My rose hair has to be the most aggresive one I own. Great pictures Poisoned!

    Thank you.

My last Rose was very defensive, I had to use tongs to get her water dish  But this one.. I can pick her up in (restrained) and it doesn't upset her, I thought her old owner was exaggerating when he talked about how docile she was. She's decent sized to, I'd guess over 4". When she first arrived and settled in she took a good hours and cleaned herself like a cat, I love watching T's do that..

When the bigger OBT nearly got my hand I started to rethink getting them  I've read about their 'teleporting' but thought that was exaggerated too - nope! He was out of his vial and on my hand before I could blink.
