The past couple of days I have been introducing Max to some training. The first thing we've been working on is him being on a leash. The second is learning to sit. I thought this was going to be a tough task because as soon as he sees a treat he usually looses all train of thought and just wants the treat but it actually went really well. By the fifth treat he was sitting without me having to motion the treat over his nose! I'm going to see if I can shoot a video and upload it and put it on here. He made me proud :o

How does everyone else's BTs do when it comes to obedience? I do not know when the proper time to start training is, but Max turned 10 weeks old today.

Good good! Glad to hear he is learning fast. My bully ranger knows lots of commands and little fun tricks he is willing to learn anything for a treat! Keep up the good work :)

Spuds and I started his obedience training right away! He came home at 9 weeks and learned sit and to walk on a leash in the first two days. Lay down, and paw came about a week later and now we are working on perfecting roll over and beg :)

Sit pretty or beg took ranger forever to learn. Bullies body types just are harder to sit like that. He finally got it after a while though.

Ranger knows how to spin and then "bang" where he plays dead. Its really cute

Electra is having a heck of a time with sit. She will not put her bottom down and i try everything...:no2: everyone else knows down, come, stay, wait, leave it, take it and drop it and a bunch of other just regular obedience around here. I dont spend too much time with fancy tricks, I prefer for them to just be obedient. But Zahra knows high five and high ten and she will hold a cookie on her nose. Bowzer knows paw and speak (hell bark.)
