Does anybody have a Stillwater Working/Pulling Harness with the removable tracers (in good condition) that they are looking to get rid of? Please let me know here or by PM. Thanks.

I figured I would see if anybody had one they wanted to offload of due to lack of use before I just ordered one from Shane. I'm a rather impatient person, so will likely just order over the weekend.

might as well go ahead and order it from the source. Shane ships fast. Ordered a working/pulling harness on Sunday and it got here today.

I think somebody picked it up already based on her thread. I remembered about 3-4 days too late that she was selling one....:slapme:

I might be taking a ride to the Philadelphia Pet Expo event tomorrow to just look around at some stuff, but nothing will likely even come close to the quality that Shane produces. As such, that will result in me ordering on Saturday afternoon (or Monday so I don't disturb his weekend).

I would just go ahead and buy one from Shane, its not something common people get rid of, heck I have a custom pull harness and I am using my working/pull harness from stillwater with my carpet mill now

Just order one from Shane. His prices are great and he will probably ship it to you faster than someone selling their used one!

I was looking through this site for harnesses, collars, leashes and I just had a question to put ya'll. My dog is 6 months, so would you wait until she is full grown so you know exactly what size you need or would you just get her the one you think she would fit as a full grown dog?

I loved the stuff he had up there and the prices were more than reasonable but I dont want to buy something if it wont fit her down the road also.

At 6 mos, how big is your dog's neck (for collar purposes)? I adopted mine at 2yrs old, so never had to deal with her growing, just getting her in shape. The nylon collars are so economical that I would just get whatever you want now and if it is outgrown, donate it to a shelter or give to another dog (I bought one too small and just gave it to a neighbor since I spent $10 or so on it). As for a harness, depends on what you are looking for as some are adjustable.

I would get her a no buckle slide collar from Collarmania actually, get a grab bag one with heavy hardware and make sure you tell Lisa (the owner) that its for a growing puppy. They are 15 bucks (so a bit more than stillwater) but with the no buckle slide you will be able to adjust it more than a buckle collar and that is something I like for a puppy

Thanks guys, her neck is really small. Shes had the same collar since she was 4 months and hasnt out grown it yet. I just dont want to buy a nice collar and then she has a huge growth spurt. Thanks again I will check out that collar. Are the stillwater harnesses adjustable?

I have Stillwater collars that I still use from when Peanut was a puppy and in 2 months he will be 6(already). You can get the Stillwater collars they have plenty of holes you can use as she grows.
