I put this post together for people who are looking for events to watch or compete in with their dog. This is not a complete list, and doesn't represent every single sport available. But its a good base to get you started. :)

If anyone has any national clubs to add to the list, please feel free. It would be appreciated if you could keep with the format used here, and provide a link, as well as a brief description of what the club offers.

Thanks for that! I was looking for dock dog links, but wasn't sure what would be considered the best resource to put up, so I left it off.

  10. Thank you bahamutt99 for this nice information. I wanted to also say that Yes the AKC does not accept American Pitbull Terriers or even recognize them but Im hoping one day that would change...So i do inform everyone and encourage any one who owns one of these wonderful dogs to try to get the S.T.A.R Puppy and Canine Good Citizen Certificate so that we can prove that our dogs should be recognized for the great dogs they are....I Myself am going to work at getting my baby certified for both.
