    That'll teach them !!! :no2:

Come on, not everyone was bashing you ...lol ... even the one's who you feel are bashing you, are just expressing their painful, frustrated, but enlightened point of view.

If you don't feel comfortable discussing this further in this thread, please PM me. But, don't go away because someone disagrees with you. I may not agree with your methods and reasons either, but I will not bash you, just try and reason with you and help you realize a different point of view.

Now wait a minute. You said your female is NOT purebred, and you don't know what she's mixed with, so exactly how is she registered?
They didn't "somehow" get tied up. Someone dropped the ball. There is such a thing as a spay/abortion, and you should have taken care of it before you had a litter of puppies with no homes. You can have them fixed before they go to their "good homes", but, somehow, I doubt you will.

Edit: CHJ, you beat me to it! Must have been posting while I was, too. Get out of my head! =)

Sweetie, I am sure no one here meant to upset you, sometimes the truth can hurt a little, but better a little hurt feelings then a litter of pups doomed for death role. How can you register a dog that you said you were not sure was pure breed? Are you selling the pups or giving them away to good homes? Everyone's main concern here on this forum is for the well being of the breed. A little constructive criticism is not bashing by no means and I am really sorry you took it that way. How old are your dogs? I think I asked this before. I hope you do not leave the forum there is lots to learn here and people that care....

You can have puppies altered before they leave. The term is pediatric spay/neuter. Rescues do it all the time. Here's a link for some basic info.

Pups should not leave their litter before eight weeks of age anyway, so this would leave you with plenty of time. ;)

I seriously cannot believe my eyes...

I just would like to know why you are so proud to have NOT ONCE, but TWICE brought mutts into this world and you are completely unsure of the breed. Why on earth are you doing this and then acting as though nothing wrong has occurred? Has it ever once crossed your mind to have your dogs fixed, both of them. They do not need to be producing...neither one of them, for A LOT of reasons....
You can only imagine? Honey, I am here to tell you....you could never imagine what I want to say to you right now, but I will refrain.

To help you understand why people are so upset, take a look at Petfinder.

This page lists the breeds of dogs they have up for adoption. Labs and pit bulls make up the highest number dogs in shelters.

    Labrador Retrievers 18,227
    pit bull terriers 9168
    American Staffordshire Terriers 3083
    Staffordshire Bull Terriers 854

    Now keep in mind, in a very LARGE number of shelters, they euthanize all dogs that "might" have any "pit bull" in them so that 13,105 dogs labeled as pit bulls, am staffs or staffy bulls are just a smidgen of the number of "pit bull type" dogs that walked in the front door of the shelter and made it to the adoption floor. Most wind up dead. Never mind the dogs coming out of the breedings of thousands of people out there pumping out litter after litter that wind up with owners who don't know their ass from their nose and have the dogs wind up on the front page of the newspaper causing yet another ban in another city. And the story continues. Are you going to be part of the problem, or part of the solution, I guess is what you have to ask yourself. If I had to pick the top reason our breed is in the state it is in, I'd pick overPUPulation {the spelling mistake was not a mistake, by the way. ;)}

First of all grow up.....what you call bashing is what others call voicing their opinion. I do not see anything that could be considered bashing in this thread.

Second of all you say.....This was the reason why I was not going to make this post, because I knew it was going to turn into a bash thread...so why come on and post it then?

People on this site are dedicating their lives to rescue and seeing you being irresponsible having litter after litter of "oops" mix breed dogs doesn't go over very well. What you feel is perfectly acceptable, others see as highly offensive.

I see you've lurked around since you claim to be leaving, which is good I hope. Maybe you can take the time to reed the breeders code of ethics.
