No I don't think we should support any BSL. You then do not have a leg to stand on in the future when you fight to have it repealed or when you try to prevent it from getting worse or spreading elsewhere.

No one cares about your scenario....your scenario has zero discussion value and has nothing to do with the very article you posted in your OP. Your basically saying...well option A, death to your dog, option B, save your dog, which do you choose?....so lets discuss, what no...there is no discussion, everyone is just going to save their dog...end of discussion.

Thankfully, most other people here are actually trying to discuss what you posted in your article, not your made up scenario. The "idea" of licensing the person instead, if that would be a valid alternative to BSL. And like i have said earlier...no...its not.

Again, And I don't see where you are missing it tracie, this goes back to my argument about a Drivers License. Or in your defense since you mentioned, a license to practice medical procedures or defend in court. Just because someone studied, took the test and complies by law to do what they want to do (Sell liquor, Drive, Dr., Lawer, own wild life, own and carry a gun, ect.), Doesn't mean they REALLY know what they are doing. I would take my chances with an unlicensed individual as I would a licensed one. In the end, I'll still get screwed.

I don't have to read the article in your OP to know that I'm against it. It is still a form of BSL and breed restrictions. Its not an answer to the problem, and as Field said, only muddies the waters more. If you want to help, don't suggest such nonsense. Help us get the government OUT of our everyday lives. Help us END BSL. Help, don't cover it up with a band aid.

Seriously? You are actually going to say a doctor who passed his medical boards and proves he knows his shit is just as good as a person who failed their boards is is unable to practice medicine???? .... Just WOW... LMAO

Seriously? You are going to judge a persons Knowledge based on rather he has a license or not? LMAFO. Just Wow to you too. Talk about judging a book by its cover.

Well let's see.... I work at the medical school and I TRAIN med students and residents so I am not judging a book by its cover I am judging it from 18 fucking years of experience

hmmm... Unlicensed individual (when referring to dr or law as you just did) = Flunkie... You said it not me I am not putting words in anyone's mouth... "I will take my chances with an unlicensed individual as I would a licensed one"

No. You can still study these things out side of 'school'. You cannot base someone's knowledge on rather they obtained a degree in something or not. A license, if you will. I've had several doctors fuck shit up and they have an ... OMG License.

  12. tracie2114

    tracie2114 Little Dog

So your telling me you know DOCTORS and lawyers who have studied on their own outside of "school", have never obtained a degree or a license to prove they are competent and proven they have knowledge and are out there practicing medicine? Yeah ok

And sure there are doctors that make bad decisions or may miss a diagnosis but they are sure more knowledgable or competent because yes, they have a LICENSE as required by law because the ones who failed did not know the requirements to practice medicine, I didn't say they are perfect we all make mistakes but sorry I would put my life and my child's life in the hands of a licensed practitioner before I ever considered an unlicensed one... And how you can compare a drivers license to a medical or law license is beyond me lol

Obviously you don't understand your own argument.

Oh understand MY argument it's how you turned it into this ridiculous one that I dont understand... Exactly why I choose to work in a medical school and not an elementary school lmfao

This has NOTHING to do with the medical field. This has NOTHING to do with Lawers. I was only using them as an example. You are looking too hard at it. You turned it into this.

  16. tracie2114

    tracie2114 Little Dog

Yes because you are comparing Owners taking a test to prove competency of owning a dog to someone (you) going out and taking a driving test without studying then comparing THAT to nobody should need to have a license for ANYTHING including dr, lawyers etc

BECAUSE its ALL pretty much the same DAMN thing. You are really making me laugh.

  18. tracie2114

    tracie2114 Little Dog

You make me laugh if you think passing drivers license exam (or taking a pet ownership test) can be compared to passing your medical boards to get your medical license... Let's see 16 year olds can get a drivers license but it takes 4 years of undergrad studies, 4,years of medical school 4 years of residency and at least one fellowship before you can even sit to take the exam... If you didn't need schooling to become a doctor or need to study for your boards every fucking body would a fucking doctor lmao ...

No lol I am really not we actually are finding it amusing... We are actually sitting here laughing at you... Some of the MDs and residents are in here with me and think its funny that you say they are ALL the same... But I am done now got my laugh for the day
