I'm skeptical to the studies done against them, they are also making a huge deal about metal when it's because it is found in meat. I have heard the testing labs reputation is questionable as well.

I feed both Acana and Orijen Six Fish and my dogs gain weight on it. Capt. roxy's girl is not gaining weight on it though.

It’s a rich food so overfeeding even a little can definitely cause weight gain.

That is true, Teddy is on Acana Freshwater Fish at about 2 1/4 -2 1/2 cups per day. Tonka eats about 1 3/4 -2 cups per day of Orijen Six Fish. Plus they both get about a TBS+ of eagle pack canned turkey. He stays pretty lean and she stays pretty heavy. However, he is younger and much more active throughout the day.

It may not seem like much but Squirt is at a lean 58lbs nowadays and only eats 1.5 cups per day (we feed Pulsar). Some dogs just have slower metabolisms and will gain weight on next to nothing. He’s one of them since I had him neutered.

Moodoo i mean Voodoo is a fatty right now, she only gets 1 1/2 cups and still runs around like she is starving lol. If i had to guess, i'd say she is in the low 40's.
