Her expression is priceless in the most recent pictures! She like, "Seriously, woman !"
I think she looks great! How's she feeling now a days? Meds all dialed in finally?

  4. Thanks Beki! Her thyroid issue is completely under control now. BUT, her knee that she had surgery on for an ACL rupture a few years ago is starting to have some pain/stiffness, so now she mostly does swimming for her exercise. She became incontinent after her spay so I took her to the vet last weekend. They always do a urinalysis to rule out a UTI, no infection but very low urine specific gravity so they sent blood and urine to the lab and sure enough, the bitch has kidney issues. So the poor girl is pretty much falling apart, but at least the thyroid and piss dribbling are both under control with meds at the moment. She still acts happier and healthier than most dogs around here though!

She looks great! Very beautiful girl. I love her color. She doesn't look fat at all. Just thick, but a nice thick. :-)

She is beautiful, she looks so sturdy and strong!

My last dog had some kidney problems, too, starting when he was around 13 or so. Looking for info to help him, I found this yahoo group:
    Yahoo! Groups

The information and support from those folks was so helpful to us, and we were able to help Dante have 3 more good years with us, never getting all that bad off from the kidney issues.

Good luck with your lovely girl!
