Jaw drop

I need help on finding out if this jaw drop will go away

I have zero personal experience with this but a quick search tells me that this is an inflammation of the jaw due to either injury or nerve degeneration. Treatment is supportive and there is typically spontaneous resoluation within a few weeks.

What did your vet say?

Hey thanks for the response he really couldn’t tell me much about it really didn’t know unless I did blood work and X-rays with the cost is outrageous so he just gave me antibiotics and the steroid said he’s seen it before but really didn’t teel me much she’s in inside dog so definitely no injuries thanks again really helps

And she can also eat dry dog food but really hard for her to drink water I don’t know if she’s getting anything just drool in the bowl I have been given her water with a seringe

Where are you located? I would look for a low cost Vet clinic if I were you. Take my expensive pup to the Animal Welfare League clinic

I live in South Florida I think it’s getting better hard to tell caus sometimes her mouth is closed and sometimes not
