While walking the dog, what are some crazy things you've seen?

One of the wildest happened two weeks ago. There's a nice elderly woman a couple houses down and I walk her dog because she's recently had back surgery and there's no one else to walk it for her.

Anyway, it was a nice day for that week, and the mutt and I stopped back at my house to get some water because I'd been walking him for while. So we're sitting on the porch both drinking our respective beverages, and there's this guy arguing with himself in the parking lot just behind the house. I've got to walk the dog back that way so I wait for him to pass on. But he doesn't. Instead this dude stays walking back and forth for a while yelling at himself. Then dude starts to take off his clothes. Mind you, it's like 3:30 at this point where the kids get out of school so now dude's got kids looking at him giggling or running away screaming because homeboy is buttass naked.

Other people come up the rental office or to throw out the trash and he starts yelling at them. Dude is still naked and people are taking picture and videos on their phones now so I know this is about to be on Instagram. Then this junkie dude comes up to try to talk to him and he punches him real hard in the face and the dude stumbles orr to the grass where he's sitting almost passed out. At this point I hope we all understand that I am still there because I'm being nosy and this is amazing.

Then maybe 5 minutes later 6 cop cars, and ambulance and a fire truck roll up and 3 cops tackle the guy until he's calm and they make him put on his pants and handcuff him. Then they help the guy he knocked out but apparently the junkie's tweaked on some stuff so they handcuff him too. Finally they put them in different cars and drive away. As for me, I go to walk the dog back home hoping they'll hold him longer this time. That was a same guy getting naked and yelling to himself in front of the plaza the week before that :no2:

Holy hell, can't he be labeled a sex offender for stripping in front of children like that?

While he probably could, the cops around here are pretty lazy and will not process people that haven't done something that they deem serious. Yell at em for a a bit sure, but not do anything real about it. I've heard them tell a shop owner to his face that they wouldn't prosecute a person they'd caught stealing red handed because it's not worth the paperwork.
My neighborhood is so terrible, lol.
