Curious what everyone here thinks of my new pup rocky. He is 6 months old about 50 lbs at the moment. Great dog. I think I will get a dna test but I’m curious what this forum thought first ! Thanks!

sooo pretty!! His head shape reminds me of my girl Millie.. They way it has a wedge in it.. People tell me my girl may have some AmStaff in her.. so I believe that is what your has as well.

Great dog! I would move his collar up quite a bit. It looks like his wrinkles in his neck have a little skin irritation. You have to keep the wrinkles really clean or the ski could get an infection. My female has issues with her skin right there where yours is affected right now.

yeah.. I started taking Millie's collar off every evening that she is home and put it on her when we leave for walks.. She has learned that when her collar on.. it is all business.. It's like clock work. LOL

Thanks everybody! I changed out the collar a while back to a easy walk collar, and he doesn’t wear anything while inside the house. He is about 50-55 lbs right now at 6 months. Any opinions his grown weight will be ? I know it’s hard to tell but guessing is fun!

I think 55 lbs. is good but I'm not a very experienced bully breed owner.

I think they are both a few pounds overweight.

lol.. Millie is 62lbs.. BUT she was 31lbs just earlier this year.. so I am not sure if she needs to loose a few or if this is her ideal weight.. she's active though and doesn't eat a lot of scraps.

I think they are healthier on the leaner side. I would have her drop a few pounds really slowly though.

Thank you!! I agree.. especially now that we are 'in training' for her to run that 5k.. I've been reading about how to build up your dog's stamina.. so it is looking like walk her for 5 minutes run her for a minute ratio until we have completed the 3 miles.. kind of like interval training.

Especially with her love of running I would get her down to a lighter weight so it is easier on her body.

Ummm well how tall is he atm? From paw to spine.. im gunna go ahead and guess he will hit 28kg - 30kgs but it depends on how you want him to look. work him accordingly i reackon you could reach 31- 33kgs if ya wanted a meaty dog, give or take a kilo. I know an amstaff named mafia that is just like yours and he is a big boy.. solid as a rock. Ive found that amstaffs put on bulk easier then apbts so im leaning towards low 30s. It all depends if you want a barrel for a dog
