Hubby and I decided that years from.now when we're ready for another dog we want a Bull Terrier! But we want it from Mexico! Why? Because theyre almost always bred without the "egg head" down here. We prefer the classic look (Sam influenced us!). We've been seeing a lot of BT pups recently and theyre SO PERFECT. Heres an example... Isnt he gorgeous!?

I prefer white and I dont like this guy as much but a good example of a Mexican BT w/o egg head. The egg head DOES exist down here but its much less common.

P.s. Im not sure whats going on with the white adult's neck in that pic.. Maybe they had a string as a collar that was way too tight lol, idk.

It looks to me like they had one of those narrow chokes that show folks use holding the head up in a stack, and they photoshopped out the leash.

I think so too! Its very hard to find Bull Terriers these days though without the egg head. I think its called a "roman nose"? Maybe somebody more experienced with BTs can elaborate on that lol.

bull terriers without the egg head as you call are far more common than those without. there are a fuck ton of bull terrier breeders in Mexico breeding for the modern day look. it's really not very hard to find a bull terrier with a snipey face.

She doesn't want one with a snipey muzzle, she wants one without an egg head. There's a difference. ;)

Yup, I want a good old fashioned one! I realize some Mexican breeders are now going for the egg head look but its neat that theres still a ton down here who breed for the classic look. There are very few US breeders who breed classic BTs.

Funny, in any other breed it's just called NORMAL! I guess it's not disfigured enough for the AKC...
