Identical siblings

  1. Has anyone who has helped a bitch whelp ever seen identical pups? As in two pups with one amniotic sac and one placenta. When all the pups look alike that would be the only way to know if they are truly identical. I have a feeling that this happens more often in dogs than most folks think. It occasionally happens in cows, and dogs usually have more than two pups per litter so the chances are greater. I would love to see a shot of identical APBT pups.
