Congrats! She is a cute pup and she is lucky she is with you. People don't always think when they get a young puppy...

Would it help to tether her when you are busy and don't want to crate her? That way she has limited space and can't get into too much trouble. I used to use a short coated wire cable and give my pups something nice to chew on and it kept them occupied.

I read this and was like "duh? Why didn't I tether?" I don't know. I normally do tether new dogs and pups. It was one of those days.
I will report that this little girl is doing really well with housebreaking, she's going to the door already!

Got to love that hallelujah moment when it clicks and you don't have to worry about your carpet anymore.

" Don't eat the cat.jpg 2017.12.01.jpg 2017.12.01.a.jpg B, don't eat the cat"....these two love playing together, my black cat, meh, not so much. So far so good, but they are never alone together ever.

Ignore my floor, we own a foreclosure and slowly we are remodeling. It's clean, but those are stains and chips in the linoleum from the last owners.

Also, probably mentioned this, but B gets her STAR puppy in two weeks. In honor of that I ordered her a collar from collar mania. Here's what it will look like. I love the show Supernatural, so it's a play on that. HH Collar.jpg

So cute, she's looking great. I love the pic with the cat. Grace absolutely adores mum's cat but the cat wants nothing to do with her. She's old, I don't blame her.

Nice looking pup. And STAR is a nice start. I completed the AKC good citizen and urban good citizen tests with my Belgian Malinois pup by 9 months, smartest dog I’ve ever owned. As loyal, loving and fit as my adult pit bull is (avatar), poor girl is slow in comparison.

Thanks! It's been a while since I've taken a dog through OB. I'm looking forward to it!
Is your APBT fast? LOL Does a bear shit in the woods? I wanted to lure so badly with my last girl but, we don't have any courses close my house. She was a rocket.

Sprinting, yes she's fast and agile. High prey drive. From an OB/trainability/intelligence perspective, my shepherds are on a different playing field. I'm not saying bull breeds are 'slow'; but they are wired differently, imo.

Ah, I got ya. I thought you meant the APBT was faster (speed-wise) than the Shepherd. I've never taken a popular OB breed (collie, GSD, etc.) thru OB. But man, those BC people be crazy. I'm sure with having a GSD, you're on par with those people...whole other level is an understatement. LOL

Now that you mentioned it, I didn't notice. I tend to wear things backwards regularly though or inside out.
My dogs aren't happy with the snow and winds. I think there's around a couple feet of lake effect, but we're not measuring until it's over the big dogs heads. Both are 60 + pounds.

Oh man, you're in the snow belt, huh? I grew up in the snow belt here in Ohio (Cleveland), but am just beyond it now. So we get all the same wind chill and temps but no snow to go along with it. My thought is, if it's gonna be this cold, might as well bring on the snow too. We've got mayyyybe an inch on the ground now.
B loves the snow, I'm really surprised because her coat is so thin . She shocked me on that one. She goes out to pee and I have to coax her back in because she's so busy "snow plowing" with her nose in the backyard. Good thing she's food motivated.
