how to get 8th month pit intrested in playing tug

    Im trying to get my pit to play tug with me so i when i do get round to building a spring pole for it after the winter when he is around 14 months it will be used to playing tug with me and find it easier to understand what the spring pole is for.

    But its not intrested at all in trying to get the old towel from me or playing with it i didnt have a problem getting my other dog (GSD) playing tug with me etc but the pit pup isnt intrested at all do you guys have any ideas how i can make the pit more intrested ??????

    Some dogs just don't like playing tug. Piper won't play tug with people, but will with other dogs. I can use anything I want and she still won't do it with me.. so I've given up LOL.

    sometimes you can tie a string on the end of a rag and let him chase it. does the dog play with anything?

    other then chewing things no not really he dosnt play with many items

    Make a flirt pole, he'll love that.

    Lucy has no interest in playing with me. I consider myself lucky. There's the odd game of tug here and there, but those are rare, and she'd rather be outside catching birds or chewing on a bone.
