Hi!

I am new to the forum and would like a little advice. We are thinking of getting a Pitbull puppy but we have a 2 year old Chihuahua and we are worried about them getting along. Any advice? We would like the Pitbull to stay inside like our Chihuahua does. Thanks in advance.

Just depends on the puppy. If they get along, they get along. If they don't, they don't. Introduce slowly and never leave them alone unsupervised

We used to have a Pomeranian and a Pitbull but the Pit stayed outside all the time. This time we want them both inside so we just want to get any advice we can. Thanks!

Our Pom died of old age at 12 yrs. old and our pit developed a tumor at 10 yrs. old They got along but one was always inside. We had the Pom first and got the Pit as a puppy. We are just wanting a friend for our Chihuahua and have always loved the Pit.

Not sure why you posted in this section, when there is a introduction section right under this one.. but anyways..LOL.

You are looking for a playmate FOR YOUR CHI, so give him a friend that he can play with... I mean, that IS what you said. Why not get a breed more appro. for your Chi?

G.S. Pointers, Boxers, Wheim. would maybe suit your dog better IF YOU**** are wanting a bigger dog but still be able to have a playmate for your Chi.. If you REALLLY want a playmate FOR**** your CHI, then get a breed in abouts the same size range as your Chi... that would make more sense to me....

If its a MUST for a bully breed (which IDK why it would be) Maybe an English Staffy would suit your needs a little better.... Something to think about
