Hi everyone. Ahhhh, the dreaded introduction. Hmmm let's see. Well my name is Shawn and hubby and I share our home with a 13 year old rottie mix, a 7 1/2 year old rottie and an almost 4 year old deaf pittie mix. All our crew are rescues.

I grew up with dobes, have had rotties for 25+ years and honestly never thought I'd find another breed I loved as much as the rotties. I've always loved the pitties and knew some day I'd rescue one so when the time was right we found Corduroy aka the little Tot it was love at first sight. She was only two when we rescued her and had been in the shelter since she was around 4 months old...no one wanted her because she was deaf and a pittie. I named her Corduroy after the childrens book with the bear no on wanted because he was missing a button. I also know now that I have found my second favorite breed. Hard to believe that I now have two favorite breeds. Even my husband who was a gsd guy when we met now swears it's only going to be rotties and pitties from here on out.

I am a huge advocate for responsible pet ownership and work hard to make sure all my crew are good representatives of their respective breeds.

If you ask my husband my full time job is trying to stay out of trouble lol but if I'm not spending time with the crew I'm trying to get our dream home in the country ready for us to move into, riding the harley...not so much now being winter in Wisconsin, training dogs and volunteering for rescue. I also love to read and have way too many books to even admit owning.

Look forward to meeting you all.
