This is something I started working on a while ago, scrapped as a stupid idea, and then just had to come back and work on some more. Every time I'd hear the Evanesence song in the video, images of Heath just rolled into my head, so I had to do this for my own sanity. I normally try to avoid making vids this long, but I knew I wanted to include facts and trivia, and couldn't bring myself to plaster them over the video clips.
    Hope ya enjoy.

I always loved him. I just went to see the dark knight and I told my hubbie that we missed out on so many more incredible movies from his early death.

Sorry I just can't feel sorry for somebody who has it all and does so many drugs they overdose and kill themselves.

The price of fame for some I guess.

Very nice!! I think my only critique would be that I wish you had a couple clips of the Dark Night in there too.

I really liked him. I thought he was a great actor. I was shocked when I found out he died. I didn't believe anyone.

Isn't the Dark Knight in theaters? I don't know how I'd get clips of it.

Boogie, I've never been famous, so I don't know how many drugs it would take to deal with it. My dad hypthesized -- and I agree with this possibility -- that with travelling and whatnot, he was seeing different doctors, and one probably didn't know what the other prescribed. One would prescribe Xanax, the other Valium, and maybe they didn't tell him not to mix the two. One thing I read said that he was on sleeping pills, anti-anxiety meds, and painkillers. That's a lot of stuff to be on.

I think what gets me is how young he was. He was the same age as I am now when he died. :(

Couldn't you get clips from the trailers?

I agree its a lot to be on...I mean I'm currently on a really high does of meds, that if I were to screw up and think I hadn't taken it when I had, and take another...it could kill me, just like if I don't take it. It depends on the medications, what you're on, and what you're taking with it. I mean, if he was taking a high does of sleeping meds, and a tranquilizer which they give for anxiety...that could react badly.

According to police, sleeping pills and other unspecified medications were found strewn across the bed, and around the body. On Wednesday, WCBS in New York and TMZ cited unnamed sources as saying that police are investigating a rolled-up $20 bill found in the apartment with an unidentified substance on it; WCBS also reports that "several drug packets containing an unknown substance" were found. A representative for the New York Police Department had no comment on those reports.

I guess they didn't keep up with what his drug dealers prescribed him either.

I can see, as a person who as extreme anxiety myself...that when it was really bad, before I was properly medicated, there were times when I had such a bad panic attack I just dumped my meds out to be able to get at them easier and take what I needed. If he was in a state of a panic attack, he may have dumped them to take them and go to bed. I'm just saying there are ways to look at it that don't mean he was just a druggie. True there were other things there as well, which is unfortunate, but, it's a common thing, and it may have played into it as well. Just looking at it from a different point of view.

Well, the vid is already done, and took me the better part of a week to put together, so I'm not adding more clips at this point. But thanks.

    Just a thought.

If the presence of bulldogs and breaking sticks doesn't mean that someone is a dog fighter, then maybe, just maybe, the presence of a $20 bill and "unidentified substances" don't mean that someone is a druggie. ;) As they said, his autopsy was inconclusive. Unless there is an update to that story.

Firedrake, no offense taken. We coo'. :)

I knew somebody would post that.....I just knew it! LOL Well here's the difference...........there's another use for breaking sticks besides dog fighting. It's called being a responsible owner.

There's no other use for having bags of cocaine, herion, or meth laying around with dollar bills rolled up besides you're doing the shit. ;) Oh unless of course he was using it to get the coke whores. LOL Which I doubt he had to use coke to lure women into bed with him.

I feel bad for the movie goers that are going to miss out on so many great movies he could have made. He was AMAZING as the joker.. I went and saw it the other day. As for his death... well I think he was "doctor" hopping.. A friend of mine does it that is a total pill head... he goes from doc to doc and gets pain killers. I think fame was too much for him and he overdosed accidentally. But its the cost of fame for so many young great actors.
Although I do agree with Boogie about the rolled up $20... now in my wilder days I didn't use $20's... but there was only one reason I rolled up a dollar bill! ;)

I just got back from the newest Batman flick and WoW!!! He really did a great job of the joker. I was impressed.

I'm pretty sure it was later stated that the rumors of the $20 bill, unidentified substances, and "pills strewn all over the room" were later de-bunked. It simply wasn't true. The pathology reports showed no illegal substances, and the levels of prescription meds were within safe range, but it appeared to be a drug interaction issue. Too many docs, too many conflicting meds, and no one cross checked what he had already been prescribed.

Cool. I loved that guy. I don't want to think he was a druggie.
