Haven't been on here in awhile, but I lost my precious Chloe last November.

Haven't been able to talk or face it since. My baby Chloe left me. I had to let her go , she had kidney disease and old age, etc. So hard. RIP, a true angel is what she was. This was in November 2020.. God, I miss her!!chloe closeup 2.jpg

Can't imagine my dogs letting go. If that's the case I feel like I can't watch them go to sleep but at the same for sure they want me to be there holding their paw

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it's hard but you made the right decision to let her go. It sounds like it was time and she was ready.

Im so sorry most of us have lost our furry kids and its never easy to lose a great K9 especially this breed. I lost mine last November 6 2020 I just have a hard time getting back to a some what normal routine.I have PTSD and she was my rock. So sweet and kind. She was very obedient and very smart and what APBT isnt a comedian and clown. Well taken care of Im retired so she was my adventure mate. Went everywhere together. She loved when I would light up the smoker and do some pork butts and chucks. She ate some too and loved it as much as I do. I would take mine in every 6 mos figuring it was 3.5 yrs for her .

Fed Orijen and rotated feed every 3 mos.No skin issues at all and very healthy until she came down with spleen, pancreatic cancers gone in 4 days , the botton dropped out that day for me and her . It feels as if it was yesterday. I think mine got sick thru enviorment we walked in .I'm thinking pesticides and herbacides city parks use. I would rinse her feet all the time but I guess it may have not been enough. I had a shallow tub I filled with water and a solution of benedine . She step in and I would wash them and then rinse them. She had an all day exercise regiment as we would play for hours on end. Obedience drills to keep her thinking along with food puzzles and tons of soft and hard chews ,

Costco stuffed dolls she would shred looking for the sqeeky . I had bought some nice fleece throws in October in anticipation for chillier temps but she never saw them . I have a closet filled with her toys she didnt get to play with yet .im gonna move and looking for an acre lot size so she can have her own domain to play in (last was 1/4 acre sucked ) but I will get another then This C19 thing has wrecked havoc in so many ways and to lose such a beautiful creature that was yur everything sure made me down & out !! Heres to a recovery coming soon and my heart goes out to all who have lost their best friends. We shall see them one day again !! # rainbow bridge is where we;'l meet
