My brother has a Leo name E-Gor, I've known her for a long time.. He's finally decided she is being neglected way too much and asked if I wanted her yesterday. Well duh.

She is at least fifteen... I'm not sure how old she was when he got her, but he got her fifteen years ago.

She still gets around well. She has a very bitchy temperament, I've been bitten a few times.. I will start picture whoring her as soon as she gets here.

Awesome. I love leos. They have such personality. I cannot wait to get back into reptiles again.

She does.. She's a grumpy lady, she likes being held if you're warm and comfy and she's in the mood for it, otherwise she's a biter. I love it.

She certainly does... Right now she's getting minimal care and doesn't even have a heat source.. I'm going to pamper her.

All you need is an under the tank heater. They make some really cool hides for leos. We had a few for ours. I want leos again now. Pictures are a must. I rescued mine from a bad home situation also. They were are bark and were be given freezed dried crickets. :(

Ugh... Why don't people do a tiny bit of research before taking on exotics?

I don't know how she's made it this far.

I do not know what why. It drives me crazy. Research before you buy a pet, people.

Leopard geckos are probably the best lizard one could own. I had 6 at one time(sold them). Now i only have 1 (10 year old female Ive had since she was about 10 weeks old) plus 3 snakes. Make sure you feed her lots of calcium!;)

    Her tank..
Got as much of the nasty things out as I could, going to replace her substrate tomorrow..

She enjoyed some nice, fat crickets after I put her back in her tank.

She was not handled nicely when he first got her - that may have contributed to her temperament.. She lost her tail and several toes/most of her nails due to improper handling.

But it's up to the individual. I used to have an iguana, she'd sit on my shoulder and be happy as a clam, loved me scratching and stroking her, but she would whip and bite at anyone else... and I've known others who liked everyone.. my old petshop used to let their big adults roam in the reptile room (mistake IMO) and they would come up to guests for scratching..
