I've got seeds for everything I swear. I'm pretty well waiting for this last cold snap to go away, putting seeds in the ground, and seeing what takes.
I didn't post a photo of them but I've got 5 pepper plants going as well (2 types)
The potatoes were rotting when I threw them in the compost- complete accident that I got plants out of them!

Pretty cool!
I would love to grow potatoes, I've heard they're pretty easy, and I think the vines are really pretty.
Lady year we did I think 6 types of peppers, 3 I know we will be repeating this year. Mainly because they were just better suited to my cooking needs.
We also did Brussels sprouts last year for the first time, those were really neat to watch grow but , they took up more space than we thought they would.
Sugar snap peas and Italian green beans will be going in again this year as well as those are always a huge hit.
As far as the tomates, I think we have it narrowed down to 3-4 that are must haves, again because of my cooking style.
As a family we have started a group board on pintrest titled ' Franken garden, (shit to plant) , it's sort of helps us to see what has worked and also a place to list things we would like to try.

And I didn't expect the dollar store sunflower seeds to take so I used a bunch... boy was I wrong!

I bought a house with so many possibilities. I am very interested in gardening, but quite a novice. This is definitely a good thread to learn! I have quite a few cool things already growing, like roses, irises, clematises, tulips, and my favorite the peonies!!! I would love to start some veggies this summer too!

What kind of veggies are you looking to grow? Ive grown a few small veggies gardens before when I was younger but always with someones help.

Good luck with your garden!

I'm in a rental myself, but all the important regrowing stuff (like the peppers) are in pots.

Thank you! Congrats to you too! I think I'm going to do a few potted veggies to start out. Maybe some beans and tomatoes. Gonna keep it simple for my first attempt. I have good space one property, but I'd like to build some raised boxes and I don't think that's going to happen this year.
