    He was not a pit bull either. This is a popular myth. If you will go to the official site for Sgt Stubby, it specifically says his breed was not known.

    If you look at him IMO he looks like a Boxer or Boston terrier mix.

    ive always found it funny how APBT owners cling to him as a purebred. while i admire what he did, i have no need for a dog of unknown ancestory to prove my dogs worth.
