Food question

Actually the bison one has more omega 3 than the other ones surprisingly, it also has the most protein and requires you to feed a bit less. That is the one I get my dogs seemed to like it the best, but I have switched flavors a lot of times. My dogs can eat any flavor and it doesn't disturb them.

well i bought some of the TOTW today and it says to feed 2 cups for their weight so i put 3/4 Diamond Naturals and 1/4 TOTW... cross your paws :rolleyes:

well they seem to be loving it , i have a fourth of it mixed in with the diamond naturals and this is their 3rd day of having it, so tomorrow i'm gonna go half and half for 3 days

so far so good, going on 2 weeks now and they're not having diarrhea or any bad gas or reactions...Im going to give them some tripe tonight too!

another reason to like mini's.... a 30 lb bag of TOTW lasts me about 2.5 months....

they devoured the tripe....i gave them 1.5 cups of their TOTW and a half can of the tripe each.....my god did it smell like a rotting corpse but they loved it....

I have noticed that their poop is proportioned differently since eating TOTW now...its almost like it's more compact, small poop nuggets instead of large long turds...doesnt stink as bad either....chico dropped a deuce in petco while I was getting his tripe and it wasnt all that bad lol....

They really love TOTW, when I get home from work now, they don't even wanna go outside to go potty, they want to wait for me to get their food, but i make them go outside and run around for a second...

Has anyone noticed when switching from something like purina to TOTW they start to pick up weight fast?

:lol: What a guy doing that right in the store! I would have been so embarrassed. Yes be careful my dogs gained a lot of weight from TOTW because its so much of a better food. I am feeding a little less than 2 cups as of right now they seem to be doing pretty good on that. They are about 50 pounds. The bag tells you wayyy to much to feed to feed less than suggested. On a good food they generally don't have to eat as much. A 30lb bag only lasts me like 3 weeks Glad your enjoying the food it really does make a difference!
