FLIRT POLE, i think im going to either make one or buy one for working Mia out....she went ape shit the other day on my broom and she becomes intently focused and driven on "GETTING THE BROOM" she will chase and follow it all over the place and if she gets ahold of it, she shakes and bites the hell out of it, so I make her drop it..... So I watched a few videos on people working their dogs out, and i used the broom just for about 10 minutes and she was driven on getting that broom and she worked hard at it non stop...she has good angles on trying to get it lol until i'd pull it up in the air.....

Other than giving Mia a really good work out, and getting her more trained on dropping things when i want her to, what else does flirt pole training help with?

Chico doesnt care about the broom at all lol...maybe when i actually buy or make a real flirt pole, he'll get into it?

yeah, I made a flirt pole super cheap. I got Stillwater cowhides from someone to see if Rhys likes them (he LOVES them) and a horse longe whip and tied the hide to the whip with a piece of rope and it works great!
I got the whip for $7 and someone gave me the hides for $10. I'm definitely buying more from Stillwater when these need thrown away though! Rhys didn't like the flirt pole until I got the cow hide for it.
