I know this is not a pit bull, but she's a sweet girl that deserves a good home.

We have been fostering her for approximately 4 months. In that time, she has done a complete 180 in a very good way.

She has learned to interact appropriately with other dogs, initiating play with them and understanding what no means. She has learned to enjoy playing with toys and has learned to not chew on inappropriate objects.

She is progressing very nicely with learning that people are good things. There is not a mean bone in this dogs body, but she was never shown what a loving touch meant. Despite this, she will go up to strangers to say hello and take food out of your hand.

She LOVES going for walks, and spins and wags her tail when her leash and harness come out. We have begun teaching her a recall on a long-line, and she did very nicely.
Here is a video of her doing recalls in the park:

She is approximately 4-5 years old, and only now is she learning what a loving home truly is. We would LOVE to see her find a permanent home soon so she can begin to learn how to truly bond.

She is also house and crate trained.

She would do well in a home with another dog, but is better suited to a home with older children.

What she looked like when we first got her from the rescue:

After some time, attention, and grooming- a much more confident dog:

Thought I'd update- after over 4 months with us in foster care, Hanna went home with a lovely family today! :)
She's overcome so much, I couldn't be happier to see her in a new home.
Here's a video from last week when we took her to the river for the first time:

This dog has gone from having 0 human interaction, not being able to walk on leash, not being able to walk upstairs or go through doorways, to this confident dog who learns new things every day.
This was an arduous journey, but rewarding, and I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Me neither. Living with them for the past few months has been interesting.
