So a 9 week female....what times do you feed it at? (and how much)
    I am thinking:
    07:30
    12:30
    18:00
    22:00

The portions will be about 1/2 cup. The question...is the 22:00 feeding too late if I go to bed at 23:-24:00? Or just perfect because the pup wont get any food for 8-9 hrs. Is the 8-9hrs too long?

    Thanks

At 9 weeks you should not have to feed more than 2, maybe 3 times per day.

Agree with BCdogs. Also, is the portion 1/2 cup per meal or 1/2 cup spread out through the entire day. If it's per meal, that sounds like it could be too much.

Agree w/3x a day, last feeding about 4 hours before bedtime.

Ok perfect...sounds like a 7am, a 12pm and then around 6pm would be ideal. Have to work....so cant be any other times anyways.
Really...1/2 cup per day spread out into 3 meals? Sounds not enough....or am I way off here?

How much did the breeder to rescue recommend feeding him? I'd base it on that and increase or decrease based on appearance. I didn't say anything about 1/2 spread throughout the day. I only stated that 2 cups total per day is probably too much.

    How big is she?

I would start with the same food and amount they were getting fed, and then make slow changes from there if needed.

I do not have her yet, another 2 weeks. But I have not asked yet what the feeding schedule is or the amount just yet. Just doing some homework before I ask. I do plan on asking those and much more questions in the next 2 weeks before the actual pickup but in the mean time...just throwing this question out there.
