I like natural ears, but I have seen nice crop jobs also. The hardest part of the whole thing is finding a good vet that does a good job...

Just a personal preference but I'm not big on white dogs with cropped ears. I think ears frame a white dog's face well.

x2. Cropped ears no matter how well they're done look really off on dogs with white heads to me

A friend Photoshopped my white bitch's ears, and they looked pretty neat. I think it's more about head shape.

That being said... Cropping is a personal decision, in my book. It's YOUR dog. YOU will be the one living with the decision. I would do all your research - There have been some recent horror stories about crops gone wrong, and some stories about flawless crops.

I, personally, don't think I'll ever get a dog cropped because I don't think the ears would ever be "just right" for me.. I'm too picky

x3, I really haven't seen any cropped white dogs I like. Leave them natural, I love messing with my dogs ears

I don't really understand the whole cropping thing, and I love my dog's natural wonky ears.

Cropping seems like a totally unnecessary, purely cosmetic procedure that serves no purpose except to relieve you of money. And the risks are way too high if it goes wrong.

Best post in this thread. 'Bout sums up my opinion as well.

    I vote no.
I am also in the opinion that white -headed dogs just don't look right with cropped ears.

No offense but you gave an opinion about yourself lol You didn't answer his question.

I prefer natural ears...they are more expressive imo than cropped ears; and I personally think they look better on bully breeds than cropped ears.

I prefer the look of cropped ears, but I do not like the thought of having it done. Here is my "white" girl with cropped ears, done by the breeder. I personally think they fit her face well.

I personally prefer natural ears. Some crops look good but I just see no reason for it. Also I have seen a lot of bad crop jobs. I think the crop on the dog's photo above is too tall and too narrow at the top and too pointy more like a doberman style crop which to me doesn't do anything for the dogs naturally broad head and face.

He is just cute as a button!

I would say no, for many of the reasons already stated (mostly being that they really DON'T look great on a white bully, imo. makes them look like wanna-be dogo argentinos). Why spend time and energy and money finding a vet who can do a good crop when you could spend it on other things that WILL affect the way he lives his life (toys, saving for a nice harness, etc. etc.)? Just my two cents.
