No one asked your opinion on my opinion either.

If someone makes a thread showing off freshly cropped ear with all the stitches in, there will always be someone stating the obvious when it comes to unnecessary mutilation of a living being.

Sure the dog loves his new ears.

I want to thank dakar for posting all these pics. Seeing the pics is so helpful to those of us who might be on the fence about whether to crop or not crop.

Like what? A dobie? A Dane? How about a Rottie with its tail intact? There are a lot of breeds that can live completely normal lives with out alterations. However because it's a "bully" breed it's ears being cropped because the owner prefers the look is shameful? How...?

That's the EXACT reason I got my dogs done. And you can say whatever you like. He went to one of the best vets in MD for it. Was well taken care of after the procedure and as I've said in a few of the ear crop posts I have commented on, besides the first two days after he was back to his normal self acting as if nothing ever happened.

good to know that after 2 days it wasn't so bad for the dog. I am still torn about whether to do it or not.

Hey Sherry, take your time and if the ears are not cosmetically a problem for you, you can keep as is.

Ears crop in my particular case, was a cosmetic decision and I have no regrets. my dog looks amazing.

    Please keep in touch

    best regards
