No way would I ever put my dog in that horrible situation. Those hogs have super sharp tusks which can slice up a dog quickly. And those feral (wild) hogs are just that, pigs gone wild.!
I think it’s dog abuse in the worst form!
Thank God we don’t allow that in America.
    Dog fighting is bad enough!

I support hog hunting, where their dogs safety comes first... would you really put your dog in a pit with a wild hog? How??

On top of that, hog hunters usually have multiple dogs making it easier to control a hog of that size. These dogs have no gear and are put against the hog solo. I'm not sure if the German Shepherd is a part of the sport but it doesn't look WL at all, doubtfully can take on a hog.

AGK no food source is a willing participant. LMAO.....its like killing three birds with one stone as in this sport a single hog can be used to make money (betting/gambling/breeding proven performers of hog hunting dogs and selling of pups), schooling potential hog hunting prospects and supply food for the people as nothing is wasted as all hogs caught will eventual end up as a FOOD SOURCE......them hogs is good eating as smoked hog meat is finger licking good. LOL

Damn now I am thinking about some pulled pork samwich, pork chops with brown gravy and onions or just some grilled ham samwich and of course for breakfast and what even dogs love is BACON!!!!! LMAO.....for delicacies pigs feet soup is delicious. LOL

BRB need to go out and get me some pig....that fat bitch down the street will suffice if I cant get any pork. LMAO

I eat pork. Pretty regularly. I actually just ate oven baked chops in a cream of mushroom sauce with potatoes o'brian tonight for dinner. Shit was banging. Lol

My POV is, I'm just not into maiming an animal whether it's for food, sport, or really, any reason. I don't shoot to wound when I hunt or shoot something out of season just to kill something. Never been my MO. Even when talking about sporting dogs. It's a fine line between sport and cruelty. Once it crosses that line, I'm not for it at all. To each their own but it's not something I personally would involve myself in. However, in the woods, I'd plug one quick and would even use a catchdog if that was a possibility for me in my state.
  7. Agk I see scratch kingz under your name. How you come up with that? Mine says puppy I didn't know if those were given to us or we got to pick.

Your title will change as you post more. I'm not really sure if members can change that in their profile settings. I actually don't even remember where I found that I could change it as it was done when we first made the switch to a new format like 2 years ago. I do know, it was in my profile settings though.

Pitbulls being loyal dogs will do pretty much whatever pleases the owner. Just because the dog participates in this doesn't mean it's not cruel pretty fucked up to put your dog in that much danger.

There is a game dog forum if you'd like to check it out, but even there they understand what fair game is and the risks involved with combat.

    Nothing cute about it
  13. All im saying is I'd do it with my dog. Sleeps in bed with us every night. Kid plays with him. But if he wants to bite so be it. He's not a dog that can be off leash with other dogs(except his b*&@h) or animals around. I don't agree with people trying to ban something because they don't agree with it. Don't like it don't do it don't make it your buisness. But not agreeing with it isn't a reason to tell people they can't do it or shouldn't do it. I'm not going to lose sleep over what someone does with there dog wether I'd do it or not. Let them people do there thing.
  14. And how many people have gotten on YouTube and watched it?

I understand your perspective. I personally couldn't put one of my dogs in that situation, but reading all about APBT history on GD, I am learning that some ppl view dogs differently and feel more comfortable with their dogs engaging in dangerous sports.
I just wish the dogs would at least have protective gear on.
Would you allow your boy nekked in the pit with a hog or would you have him wear the protection vests?

Your comparing kids to dogs. Bad analogy.

Most of the people on GD don't confuse the 2. They don't humanize their animals.

I wouldn't let my kid in a pen with a wild hog with or without a cut vest on. Lol.

Most people over there dont view their animals as their babies or fur kids. Especially the people who are seriously involved with the APBT as a working animal.

I also wouldn't put my kid outside on a chainspot. I would however put a dog on one. Lol

I think you misunderstood my post. I don't anthropomorphize my dogs. But, I realize some people feel more comfortable with allowing dogs to engage in blood sport. I am not one of those, but I certainly understand how others could get into those types of activities, and enjoy them.
When I said "would you let your boy", I meant ad in his male dog. (Often times Ive referred to my dog as "my girl" and not "my bitch", just because I consider a bitch to be an unaltered female) I did not mean his child boy.
