Tie-wraps, loose so the clips can move on the rod!

Go to Menards and look around in their closet and organizer section. Maybe talk to a helpful employee in that area for some ideas and advice.
Seven Corners Hardware should be good too :)

You know, Oaks Hardware is just down the street from me. You didn't find that one too?!

    Well, not anymore actually.

Oh, and print out the drawing of the Ikea thingy so they have an idea what you're talking about. The bottom may work for some slide out wire drawers ... dunno

... and take measurements of the Ikea thingy ... and take a tape measure to the store with you to check stuff out. (or grab one there in the store LOL)

Okay ... it looks like adding slide out drawers in the adjustable shelves area probably won't work because of the the door hinges. Well ... wouldn't work on the bottom adjustable shelf but MIGHT on the top one. It would be the same principle and similar hardware as the slide out drawer already on the bottom of the wardrobe.

Well, I have wicker baskets in there right now. I might just leave em.

OH ... and in that bottom slide out drawer that is already there, you could put some kind of dividers in there for boots, grooming stuff etc.

Is there any space between the inside of the door and the edges of the adjustable shelves?
Maybe you could hang leashes on the inside of the door on hooks if there is.

I'll have to check that out when I get home.

Don't forget the wall space on the inside. Hooks could be mounted there as well. I might not would use that rod at all ... dunno. If you could mount hooks or pegs on the walls ... you could hang collars and stuff. In other words, I wouldn't give up just yet on the peg board idea you had, for collars and harnesses and stuff. Maybe the leashes could be draped over the rod?

That could work. There aren't many leashes though, so I think there would be a lot of wasted space.

My leashes are draped over a rod by the back door. I'm not happy with it and am brainstorming some ideas.
Shoot ... I need an Ikea thingy LOL ... and a crafty gal HA !!!

You have a LOT of leashes! I only have one 6 foot, one 4 foot, one 2 foot, and the long line system I rigged up.

I'm ordering a new 6 foot from Ella's though. I'm not trusting the clamps on our current one anymore.

Scour craigslist! Find something! We'll run simultaneous craft projects!

Eventually I will get some 2x4's and plywood and build cabinets above the dryer there ... and the washer on the other side of the little mud room. The only problem I have above the dryer there is the breaker box on the wall. The cabinet won't be as deep as the one I build above the washer.

BUT ... if I could score a craigslist find that would be cool :)
