Darling Coco needs your help in California to get out of shelter!

  1. Hi all!

I'm new here to this forum, and am I glad I found it. I am posting here in hopes that some of you can help me help darling Coco, a 3-year-old female pittie who was surrendered by her owner to the Baldwin Park shelter in Baldwin Park, California. She has been there since October 6th, and I and a group of other animal lovers are getting very concerned about her situation, despite the fact that she's gotten over 1,500 shares and about $240 in pledges, but that is not enough to ensure her safety. She aced her temperament test with flying colors and is an absolute sweetie with an effervescent, bubbly personality. We have set up a YouCaring fundraiser page with a goal of $600 to be paid towards her pull fee, vetting (very likely she will have KC by now), boarding/foster and transport to me in southern Maryland where she will have a permanent home. I do have a friend who is a puller for Baldwin Park who's willing to go there and pull, but she absolutely needs a place to go once pulled, and that is critical.

I cannot take her right away because I'm currently renting a room and am in the process of getting my home situated. Until then, we desperately need someone in either California or Maryland to step up as a foster for sweet Coco. If any of you out there in either one of those two states, or even somewhere in between, can help me help Coco, I would be profoundly grateful to you folks!

Good luck...maybe try to find a rescue to pull her and try and get her adopted out instead of paying for boarding. Hope things go well.
