Crop or not to crop

The crop never did anything for me personally when I had Czar cropped, looking back, if I knew what I know now, I wouldn't have done it, and probably would have gotten a few less "is he mean" comments and would have saved a few hundred bucks. But really, does not matter either way, do what you want with your dog, its not a complicated procedure and there are little risks medically.

im against them. but it is your decision. i see it as bobing the tail. sure the pit may bash his tail on the ground and make it bleed. but once that happens ill talk to the vet if the vet says we need to do it for his health then ill do it. until then i will tell my parents no eery time cause i think its mean and ugly to the dog. my own personal preference. i think only dobermans look good with ears cropped. pits are just to short for it. my opinion*

Ears generally go crazy because of teething. all though the ears can stay in the position; most, almost all fall nicely back into place! I say leave the ears! they add personality. Love: Julie&Jane
