Any crate recommendations? Want to start gathering supplies for our new pup now before we get her so we don't have to fork over a huge chunk of change at once. Lemmy has a welded wire crate that's a hand me down from my in laws. The thing is well over 10 years old and I don't know where they got it or it they make it anymore. Lemmy is an escape artist, he used to bust out of his airline crate all the time even zip tied shut. He broke out of this one too until we put a padlock on it. We don't completely latch the padlock anymore just it being there makes him think he can't get out. Plus DH works from home now so he is rarely in it for extended periods. Point being, we need a mew crate for the pup. I know APBT are notorious Houdinis but there are SO MANY options. Which creates do you like/reccomend? I am willing to spend a couple hundred if its durable and of good quality.

Run you from 500 to 1k depending on size and features. Dog isn't escaping. Ever, and it will last probably the rest of your life.

I use these, they'll run you anywhere from 250 - 500. Will also probably last you the rest of your life but I have had 1 genius undo both swing latches so I'd suggest making sure the door latch on one you buy has a locking latch. Preferably 2. Still a great crate and will hold most dogs even escape artists if you get the right door latches with it. I like mine a lot. Looks nice in the main area of my house rather than an eye sore like wire crates and airline crates.

I've definitely seen those Impact crates online. What brand is the second one?

Not sure of the exact brand name but I know them as Smith & Foster cages. If you google heavy duty crates several brands will come up.
