I saw that they breed specifically for blue as well and I didnt like that. I was given Gambler by my vet. The family had a tragedy happen and could pick the dog up after his first round of vacc's. I just received his AKC paper work yesterday and saw where he was from. Apparently the other 6 dogs in his litter were blue.

Cirkle C has been around for a long time. When I was a young kid, I wrote her a letter for info on the breed and she was kind enough to write back to me.She sent pictures and all and was very encouraging to an unknown kid with a love of dogs and a LOT of questions!lol That was a good while ago,but if I wanted an AMStaff, she would be one I would consider, just due to her kind respose.

actually alot of show breeders will chose for color as well if it "pops" to the judges.

They have been around for a long time. I know they do some healthtesting and conformation showing. I do not like how they breed blue to blue. However, if looking for a blue AST, they would not be a bad choice.

Yes I have a circle C Amstaff. Circle C is known as the premier breeder of blue amstaffs. If you have one of these dogs consider yourself lucky. They are known for great temperment, loyalty, personality, etc. My Petey comes from a long line of Champions but I never showed him. Petey.JPG
