Cellphone carrier recommendations?

Okay so here is the deal. I ran over my cellphone, I know what an idiot. Anyway I went down to Verizon to see about either replacing it or cancelling my plan. My plan is up in February turns out and I've not been happy with Verizon in a long time.

As far as cellphone carriers go what do you recommend: Sprint, Tmobile, AT&T, etc.

What makes you not happy with Verizon.
That is the carrier I use, and couldn't be happier. LOL
    Just wondering....

I personally love AT&T. But you need to use the carrier that suits where you live best. I know where I lived in NC, Verizon sucked and thats why we switched to AT&T. I haven't had a problem with AT&T yet.

AVOID Metro Piece of Shit AT ALL COSTS!!!

I use it because it's cheap and what I can afford, but the service sucks

Brian and I have had Sprint for years! We really like it and their prices are quite cheap compared to AT&T and Verizon. Their service is pretty good - there is only one place I don't get very good service.

I have Tmobile and Im pretty happy with it. They are sometimes slower about getting cool phones but everyone I know with other carriers pay more for the same services I have and Ive never had a problem with them.

SHHHHH! That's what I'll be getting when I get my next check. That is unless I can convince my sugar momma room mate to put me on her plan and get me a phone, I suppose I should dress a little more provocatively in the mean time.

I used to have Verizon, but got sick of them because they were so damn expensive. Right now I have been using Straight Talk (Gotta get it at Walmart) it runs on Verizon's network, and is a pre-pay phone. They have two options, $30/month for 1000 minutes, 1000 text, and like 30 mb internet, or $45/month for unlimited. I started using it off my sis's recommendation, and have been happy since! I'd recommend it.

The "best" carriers are only going to be as good as their coverage in your area is. Like, some places will only get reception with Verizon. Others, AT&T, etc.

I've had T-Mobile for years and really like them. I'd probably go with AT&T if my plan was up for renewal though, just because I kind of want an iPhone. You can get them unlocked though (BF has one), but it's a pain.

But anyway, I've always had great reception in 98% of areas with T-Mobile. And their customer service is great. I am having major issues with my Blackberry right now though, but I think it's strictly a BB problem and not a T-Mobile problem.

I had issues with the blackberry also.. hated that phone. If you like the iphone T-Mobiles Vibrant by Samsung is really similar (better camera and nicer screen though) and I havent had any issues with mine, I love it and I have 2 friends with iphones to compare and Id take my Vibrant any day over their iphones.

I'm using T-Mobile as well right now. I like them. They have pretty good customer service, and their coverage isn't bad. They claim to have the most 4g coverage in the nation. But every one knows how these claims go.

As mentioned they ARE slow about getting any badass phones. But I rock my OBAMA-berry regardless of what phones are out so it works.

None of them are worth a fuck LOL

The industry grew way too fast and customer service just isn't an issue. Reception is halfassed no matter who you use if you do any kind of traveling whatsoever.

No matter what I know I'll get shitty reception, the airport is like a mile from my house.

I miss T-mobile it was not available where I moved to. I hate AT&t with a passion crappy customer service, crappy coverage, over priced, and riding the Iphone's coattails!

I have a few issues with verizon. I can't get any service from in my apartment. The last two phones I've got from them have been a junk. 3 if count my husbands. And they are just so expensive. The only reason I keep it is because my sisters that live 9 hours away and brother that lives 12 hours away is on verizon and it doesn't cost to talk to them.

We are looking at 3 options: Change Carriers, Get a landline and just get 2 prepaid phones to keep in car for emergencies, or stay with Verizon. I'm just not sure what route we are going to take yet.

I had issues with AT&T when I was on my parent's plan. My phones would constantly drop calls. The phones were junk, they would all stop holding a charge or wouldn't charge at all. And their customer service wasn't all the great.

The mountains might be what is causing you problems with Verizon. Interfering with the satellites. (MAjor SP)
However, living in Alabama, with a tower every 100 miles or so, Verizon works best.
I know working at the Anniston Army Depot, ATT and other can barely get service. But I can sit inside a reinforced tank, inside the metal building we work in, and get 3G. AT&T doesn't have 3G around here, so everyone is switching.

To whom ever stated they wanted the Iphone, It wont be long before Verizon comes out carrying the Iphone.
