and usually GREAT dogs are usually sold for more money...hell, TG was asking $100 more than I paid for his pups but nobody gangs up on other people that purchase from him or plan too...like I said all types of lines that are working great at the moment are always going to be priced high...if I was looking for a mediocre dog I'd buy from a byb or get a rescue...just because I'm looking for something different in my dog than you do yours isn't a big deal

You did not have a contract. There is nothing that can be done. This is something you need to accept.

You kidding me? I drove down to NC in June to pick up my latest addition. Spent more than $400 on the trip just in gas. Now that she's home, the vet visits alone has cost me more than $200. Not to mention the feed bill and her flea and tick maintenance. I have invested more into the pup than what I paid for her.

I live in CA! it'd be MUCH more money in gas to travel....And as far as saying I bought a hummer with no money for gas??? gas is fuel for a hummer...food is fuel for a dog....my dog gets plenty of food and nutrition....:lol:LOL think of a better one!

I cant believe you people really think that not taking a dog in for a vet checkup is the same as buying a car and not putting gas in it...are you serious? I'm sorry that one just really got to me:rolleyes:

If you were promised an 11 week old pup that turned out to be 6 months old, you shouldn't have paid for it. Then all you would be out would be gas money and the time it took you to travel for it. You decided to pay for it, you took the responsibility of it, now see that it gets the medical care it needs. You made the decision to pay for the dog and take it home with you, you decision, your choice... now live with it and take care of the pup. Live with the consequenses of your decisions, plain and simple.

He didn't drive to get the dog. The dog was flown on an airplane.

you would do something like this from posts that have no proof that this really even happened, no pics of the dog at all , no proof that a dog was ever even purchased? I would need a little proof before I added to the bad mouthing of someone...
not saying it did not happen, just saying not proof has been offered.

no I didn't..I wired the money to him and he shipped me this dog...I had been talking to him for almost 2months about once every week trying to talk dogs with him and letting him know what I wanted...I was taking his word as a "good, honest and standup dogman" that everyone said he was and it bit me in the ass... I've called numerous times about sending him back and getting my money back as soon as he arrived!

Oh, ok, gotcha. Do you have all of the emails that he sent you? I don't know how you could go about pressing charges, but I would be on his door step if I could find him. This is why I could never buy a pup sight unseen and wire money to someone and then hope they sent me what I paid for. We had a case of that happen here locally where a puppy mill sent a Dobie to a family that was older than what they had bought, and they had taped the ears, but they weren't cropped. They pressed charges, but I don't know the outcome of the case.

I asked NC,bad co, and clmr about cgd because I was going to buy a dog from them and the minute I got him I pm'ed all of them and let them know! go ahead and ask them!

that would be a good thing, it might give you the credibility that you are currently lacking....

no he doesn't have an email we spoke on the phone...my dog is registered with me now and I'm sure you can see how CGD was the owner and sold him to me...

Wow, if all you have is a phone number, then you might be out of luck, as he can easily have that changed to a non published number. Stinks. Anyway you can talk to anyone that knows him that could get through to him for you?

ok, here is the situation.... I don't care who you talked to about getting a dog or what you told them... it does not verify your story...
they only know that you talked to them about it...
they can not verify what the understanding between you and the breeder was, they can not verify what the conversation between you and the breeder was...
they do not know whether or not you settled with the breeder for an eleven week old pup or a two year old dog, much less a a 6 month old pup...
all we have is your word what your understanding of what you were supposed to recieve was...
we have not heard the breeders side of the story at all..
you may be telling the 100% truth, I can not say one way or the other and neither can any of they folks you listed as references to your claims...
what we have not seen are any pics of the pup, we have no evidence of the pup being abuses by an older dog
another problem is if you post pics of a 6 month old dog, the pics can not confirm your version of the dogs behavior...
you are asking folks to believe a story about a well known breeder and have little to no evedence to support what you have to say...
what we do know for a fact is you made some irresponsible decisions and are now living with the results... I do feel bad for you, but it is the kind of thing that can happen when someone lets what they want over rule what they should be doing.... you made some bad business decisions in this process and if you did indeed get taken, you contributed to it...
