Know that I'm not just posting American Bullies, now, obviously. I'm posting all of the bulldogs that catch my eye around here. Not ALL are in VA, either.

Was at PHS yesterday, they have some gorgeous dogs. There is one that just stole my friend & I's hearts, and if he wasn't so darn big, I probably would've adopted him.

Here's his link: Adoptable American Bulldog: Bambam: Petfinder His picture doesn't do him justice, he is SO much cuter in person.

Kady, please feel free to post any bully breeds for adoption in this thread.
    Bambam is beautiful...

    Will do!
Btw - I'm a member of our local Pit Bill Awareness group, we have a FB fan page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hampton-Roads-VA/Pit-Bull-Awareness-Coalition/344067284122?ref=nf
I know you're local, so I thought you may want to join :) We're always looking for new members to help promote the breed.

And yes, Bambam is gorgeous. He has the saddest eyes and just kept giving my friend & I kisses while we stood by his kennel, and he never barked once. Seems like such a sweet guy (not sure how he is with other animals), I really hope someone adopts him soon.

I am so happy I CAN'T take on a big, male working dog. He looks and sounds like a doll. Wish I was closer to Portsmouth, I'd visit him just to squish that face!

    Will do.

We went back to see him today, since we didn't get to take him out the last time. He actually looks smaller out of his kennel, but he's definitely a big guy! There was a couple there that was interested in adopting him that had their two male dogs (one was a Pit mix, other was some kind of Boxer mix) with them. He was definitely a bit dominant, but anytime anything was 'started', it was the other dogs, not him.
The staff said he is dog selective, and hasn't been cat tested, so he's a no go for me or my friend (I was *slightly* considering adopting him, but I need a dog that's bomb proof with cats, mine are stupid when it comes to dogs). He was also only neutered a week ago (he's 2 1/2), so once that kicks in a bit he may be better.

Anyway, he is super sweet and tolerated handling really well. Love him!
