Bull Terrier Ears, will they go up?

Discussion in 'Bull Terrier' started by goatroper2000, Jan 18, 2010.

  1. The original plan was to buy a Bull Terrier pup from a breeder. But after a bit of thought, I decided that I should give a dog a second chance and get a dog from a shelter.

Well, after looking around for the right dog, not only did I get to give a dog a second chance I also just got my first Bull Terrier.

He is 10 months old, neutered and will be going by the name of “Dillingerâ€, or “Dill†for short.

Now the big question I have is about the ears, Dill’s ears lay flat, will they come up later? Or is this how they will stay? Not overly worried about it, but was just wondering.

Thank you for adopting! At the age he is at the ears will stay down most likely. Sometimes when they are young you can tape them and train them to stay up. However this sould be done at a young age. If the ears haven't come up by now they most likely wont. Cute dog good luck with him!
