Blue Bull Terrier

The first dog was being advertised as having a litter or having a waiting list nearly constantly with blue pups being expected until just recently I havent seen them advertising any more.

the speckled dog was being advertised as AKC registered pure and producing blue/white pups (or so they advertised)

obviously, I did no real digging and simply seen the ads and seen the FB adverts so who really knows.

I used to have more pictures simply because I like to collect photo's of interesting dog mixes and most especially Bull Terrier mixes or interesting BTs.

I wont name any kennel names or breeders, but I can say the person behind the spotted bully has had an AWFUL lot of young dogs/ pups die on him and has had an awful lot of LAD suffering pups.

Because dilute dogs don't just magically or randomly spring from black (or liver) pigmented dogs, the parents have to carry the recessive genes to produce it, and most breeds don't. By your logic, every breed should come in dilute.
According to my logic? I just asked a simple question.. I'm not sure how they can come in blue fawn, but not blue. Just seem backwards to me.

That isn't what you said. You said you didn't understand how a breed can come in black but not blue because it's "just" a dilution of black. Bull Terriers don't come in dominant black in the first place, but if I assume you're referring to any black pigment, the answer is simply because the dilution gene doesn't exist in the breed (outside of BYB examples that were almost definitely brought in from another breed).

But, coincidentally, the answer to the new problem you're posing was already given in the last paragraph. Since dilute doesn't exist in the breed, the question is really "how can they come in fawn, but not black?" The answer is because dominant black doesn't exist in the breed either.

If wow, see to me the ticked dog is quite obviously a mix! The others are a little trickier to tell. With all the poor breeding out there or even the breeders who strive for the old fashioned head, whose to say if they're mixed or it's due to their breeding? I've seen BT cross puppies that were even advertised at mixes & it was still hard to tell they weren't pure BTs. Now some cases it is obvious, crazy how pups can sometimes favor one parent so much more than the other. Makes the need for DNA testing on any dog in question...

The BYB that my male Cesar came from had a litter of Alapaha bull dog/ bull terrier cross pups, and I can tell you, any buyer would have thought they were real nice pure BT pups had they advertised them as such because they looked like bull terriers only heavier boned and eyes a bit rounder.
