    Hello all,

I am in the market to replace my camera and splurge on a tablet this Black Friday.

Could you please share any info you have in this area as its been about 10 years since I bought a digital camera and all I get is blurry photos of swiper and the kids unless they are semi sleeping. I've been having better luck with my iPhone lol like this one below.

WTB a SLR camera that is less than $600 regular price on Black Friday. Wife set my camera cap at $300 Hoping to get lucky and find one for 50% off. I want to take photos of my never sit still in one place puppy and kids, black and white scenery, architecture ( wide angle option would be desired) and close up macro shots of products for websites like Craigslist.

I am leaning heavily towards an Android tablet, specifically this one. asustablets.us the infinity.

I have only had iPhone and older iPad, never had an Android yet.

Wanting to sync contacts, calendar with my PC, have visual and audio presentations, live webchats etc.

Liking file management and flash with Android.

Are there any Android cons that any of you have experienced?

Thanks for any help and advice you can suggest!!

I used to have an iPad but sold it. Since then I have bought a nexus 7 tablet and I think that you get more than you pay for with the nexus 7. It doesn't have cellular service though. It is supported by Google so it gets the first set if updates on the OS from Google.

Just my thoughts on the tablet dilemma.

    Hi jarred1,

You brought up a great point about no SIM card. I was wondering if an iPhone on a personal hotspot resolves this Internet connection problem?

Do you know if android phones like the Samsung galaxy can provide a hotspot?

Thanks and have a great day.
