Does that really matter? We live in one of the most racially hateful countries,(America), in the world. There is without a doubt a segment of our society that is bloodthirsty and unsatisfied

dont agree with that one. theres CONTINENTS that beat women down and supress people of other races..... far more primitive in respect to society as a whole
  5. pookie!

No but still.. We do and it is sad, because we are supposed to welcome other people and races/religions and we do the exact opposite.

All thats sayin' is that the societies on these continents ARE more primitive and able to get away with that kind of crap.

there is a difference between being hatefull and actually acting on that hate.
if you live in the US you should thank your God for that. especially if youre a woman. i remind my daughters of that whenever i get the chance

    LOL Made me laugh.

But the truth is that Bush and Obama both wasted money in the "search" for him. That was my point. I am not a Bush supporter nor an Obama one either. Bush was an idiot. Obama is a joke.

It is not all thanks to Obama he is now dead. It is not because of Obama he is dead either. It took 10 years to find him. Really?

I do not feel it is something to celebrate. Sorry. I just do not. The death of 1 radical will not stop the risk of terrorism. There will be someone else. There has ALWAYS been someone else.

His death like Chloe said will not make me sleep better at night. Will not erase all the other "issues" we have here in this country.

It is about revenge. But revenge will not bring all those that lost their life back from this "War on Terrorism".

Here is a list of MAJOR attacks on Americans

Central America, Indonesia, Africa, Middle East, S.E. Asia all have groups that hate Americans. All have kidnapped Americans. Again this will not stop now that Osama is dead.

I totally agree with your entire post Lee. Were lucky that America is advanced as it is otherwise Americas racism would instead be a racial bloodbath

The search for him was not the money waster, but whole lot of other real money wasters, like the war on terror and all the bells an whistles that came with it, was justified because of Bin Laden.

Though this has nothing to do with the efforts of Obama, he has everything to gain politically, nationally and worldwide.

Bush will always be the guy, who couldn't find the WMD's in Iraq, and Bin laden in Afghanistan. Obama is the guy who got Bin Laden, now watch as this get repeated over and over again, during Obama's run for reelection.

I will take the position that what is percieved as "racism" isn't that at all. It is about the displeasure and illegality of the actions and attiudes certain groups possess that transgress what you physically are. Example: (hypothetical-not real of course) I don't like people writing graffiti on my wall. I shoot and kill everyone who writes on the wall. They are all hispanic. Does that make me racist or someone who doesn't want graffiti on my property? The "protected groups"-read, everyone who isn't a Christian European-ancestored male- use the race card to death and manipulate it to get their way. Look at how many people in this country believe in this shit. Nobody's gonna do anything to the muslims that are here not engaging in terroristic activities. That's a fact.

Wasn't there alot of hate crimes toward Muslims after 9/11?

---------- Post added at 12:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:47 AM ----------

Found this. So yes I would say that people do hateful things to those which they do not understand. Look that the history of this country including how we established it. I love this country. But I am not blinded by that love either.

Civil Rights Division Post 9-11 Enforcement and Outreach

The Civil Rights Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and United States Attorneys offices have investigated over 800 incidents since 9/11 involving violence, threats, vandalism and arson against Arab-Americans, Muslims, Sikhs, South-Asian Americans and other individuals perceived to be of Middle Eastern origin. The incidents have consisted of telephone, internet, mail, and face-to-face threats; minor assaults as well as assaults with dangerous weapons and assaults resulting in serious injury and death; and vandalism, shootings, arson and bombings directed at homes, businesses, and places of worship.

Really? Thats a fact? Sounds more like prophecy to me. You have no idea what the KKK, the AB or some crack smokin' skinhead is gonna do an hour from now, do you? As far as the 'race card' goes, all races pull it when its convenient to do so.

    BILLBKLYN Good Dog

Do Whites pull the race card? Oh wait they can't. I've said it before and I'll say it again. We have to adopt a better-safe-than-sorry WW2 mentality. Muslims that disagree with the radical muslim's actions and philosophies still stay quiet and don't dare say a word of real criticism, not lip service about them because at the end of the day they agree with their goals, maybe not the way they do them but if you believe in the koran then you believe that there is no room for other religions on this earth. Now I'm sure the usual posters will chime in about how I'm wrong but it's how I feel based on my life experience and my personal dealings with them and how they really feel, including the "good" ones and even American born ones. And I have legitimacy to feel this way.
  16. tera

    tera Little Dog

OK, I'm white and I've never done it so you might be right on that one. I also am not qualified to comment on the Muslim faith. I know nothing about it. I hate all religions equally. I also agree with the idea of a WWII mentality however, all I was trying to say is that there are people out there that think ALL Muslims are terrorists and they need to watch their backs a little more than usual. Osama's death will not be free.
