    This is Rosie

Rosie is a Pit Bull mix that was brought to a small TN shelter by a good samaratan that witnessed her being thrown from a car over 6 months ago. Rosie is a sweet girl with tons of energy. She is estimated to be between 1 and 2 years of age. She is not trained and has no house manners as of yet. But this bright beauty seems to respond well and seems very bright and it shouldn't take her long to catch on to basic training and basic house manners. If anyone is interested in this playful girl. Please PM me so I can give you the contact info of her shelter.

Thanks for your time. I hope this sweet girl who seems to get overlooked can find a good home soon.

:hearts::hearts: She is stunning, and reminds me of Mollie. Have you posted her on Facebook? If so, I'll be happy to share her story.
She is way too adorable to be homeless. :(

Rosie was one of 10 dogs down at the shelter this weekend. Of the 10 one was a young pup not ready for adoption. 5 were adopted and 5 weren't. All adult dogs adopted, sadly however Rosie was passed over yet again. :( No doubt due to her breed.

Maybe next weekend she will be luckier. I'm really hoping a Bully Breed Rescue could get ahold of her or some do gooder with Bully Experience will come along and atleast foster her. She is never going to get a home if she doesn't learn some skills. As far as we know she has never lived inside a home. She is just a big puppy!

I sure hope she does find a home soon.

Poor Rosie is still there. There was a whole litter of pit pups that went up for adoption last week that have all been adopted already. But poor Rosie is still there

The little puppies always get adopted out first, which I never understand. A dog that is past the puppy stage is so much easier to deal with, they are past the chewing, most times already potty trained, and out of the "bratty" stage. People are always under the assumption that you must get a puppy so you can raise it with the family because if you don't, they think you'll never be able to get it "used to" the family. :no2:

unfortunately rosie is at that teenage point in her life and she has no training. she just needs to find an owner that will be patient and willing to work with her. a foster home would be an ideal situation for her right now

I do work with a rescue group that is extremely bully friendly with a trainer that works with dogs with all types of behavioral issues. They will travel for dogs in true need.

They are pretty full right now I know, but I will still mention it to them. Maybe they know someone in their network that can help. :)

I wish the rescue here wasn't so full right now. I've been helping with training and i would love to get to meet her. The people that run this rescue are amazing too. I'm going to try to post her on fb and get my friends to share it...if she doesn't have a home soon though, I'm going to beg the rescue ;)

lets keep our fingers crossed that this will be Rosies week. THE Shelter is open wednesday through saturday and currently they have only 5 dogs.

---------- Post added at 12:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:37 PM ----------

They currently have 3 adult hounds one of which is bad with kids. A Min pin pup. A pit mix pup, and Rosie. I hope they all find homes soon but I'm pulling for Rosie because she has been there so long. So maybe this will be her week
